Something New..

I've thought about blogging in the past. And when I say that, I've thought 'how do people have time for this?!' But what I've learned is that you make the time. Writing is something I love to do so why not share my joy of writing and some thoughts/updates while also keeping up with technology trends (besides, I now have a super cute, purple, mini notebook to help me keep it up...thanks, babe!)

Why 'Attraversiamo'?

It means 'Let's Cross Over' in Italian. I read the phrase while reading Eat. Pray. Love. last year. I read it during my trip to Italy (my first trip abroad) and loved it! The book and the saying. I'm big on interpretation, symbolism, etc. so it spoke to me.

Not only was it the perfect phrase to describe the author's story, to me, these words (or this Italian phrase) help illustrate the importance of life, relationships and learning. I enjoy listening to others and learning from them. Being open to new ideas, thoughts and opinions is important to me. If we all took time to understand each other and judge less - cross over to their side to understand - couldn't we make this a better place? I guess that's the optimist in me. You'll get that as this blog continues. =)
